that they have proven they are guilty of understanding?
Formative (non-graded) Assessments:

Tangent Functions - Students must find the height of a tree and a building using the tangent function and a protractor. This must be done before continuing on to flying the rockets
- Correct Use of Technology - Students must paste two screens from the TI-83 onto a Word document, illustrating “”t” test results and data in list format.
- Prototype Construction - Student rockets must pass inspections for fins, recovery systems and engine mounts before flight of rockets.
- Digital Video Editing - Students working on video editing must periodically demonstrate use of movies, slides, moving text, and music background to instructor
- Ideal Velocity Calculations - Students must calculate ideal velocity and approximate G’s of force for rocket before actual flight and check math with instructor.
