Explanatory Note on the Lesson Builder NetsWork Project Lesson Builder, an ambitious and innovative project undertaken by Baruch College faculty and undergraduate students that commenced early in the NetsWork grant, was envisioned as a multimedia authoring tool for creating interactive, web-based lessons for teachers with minimal computing experience. Referencing earlier versions of the Microsoft Windows operating system and employing Macromedia technologies, it succeeded admirably in enabling participating faculty from The City of New York (CUNY) to build the multimedia applications listed in the Pilot Program Lessons. Important Note: Due to configuration changes in later versions of Windows, current users of Lesson Builder may encounter stability issues with the Lesson Builder application. However, the Pilot Program Lessons function well and provide good examples of the power of Lesson Builder as an instructional tool. |
