Journal of Negro Education

Journal of Negro Education (JNE), has been published continuously since its founding by the late Dean Charles H. Thompson in 1932. The JNE appears quarterly and is published under the auspices of the Howard University School of Education with the assistance of a national editorial/advisory board. The JNE is a major resource on issues and concerns related to the education of African-American people in the United States and in developing countries. The JNE fulfills the purposes within the research mission and goals of the University and the school of Education..
