Introduction
Here are the steps used to solve stochiometric Calculations. Remember there
are always more than one way to do this and a few methods will be listed and
demonstrated for your convenince:
(note we will be using the same example in each method)
In a photosynthesis reaction:what mass in grams of Carbon dioxide is needed to react with 5 moles of water?
write out the correct balanced equation.
6CO2 + 6H2O = C6H12O6 + 6O2
Underneath the balanced equation write in a vertical columns (g) for grams,( mol) for moles, and( su) for stochiometric unit.
6CO2 + 6H2O = C6H12O6 + 6O2
